The Diver Behind ScubaKenny

Hello, fellow ocean enthusiasts! I'm Kenny, the founder of ScubaKenny and the creator of the Fishperer. My journey to this point has been anything but ordinary, and I'm excited to share it with you.

From ICU to the Deep Blue

In my previous life, I was an ICU Physician Assistant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Day in and day out, I witnessed the fragility of life and the importance of finding moments of peace in our hectic world. Little did I know that I would find my sanctuary beneath the waves.

Discovering a New World

My first scuba dive was a revelation. Suddenly, the creatures I had only seen in NationalGeographic magazines were swimming right before my eyes. The underwater world became myescape – a place where I could decompress, both literally and figuratively. Each dive brought asense of tranquility that contrasted sharply with the intensity of my work in the ICU.

A Passion Becomes a Mission

As my love for diving grew, so did my desire to enhance the experience for others. I realizedthere was an untapped opportunity to bring divers closer to marine life in a
respectful,non-disruptive way. This idea sparked the creation of the Fishperer and, ultimately,ScubaKenny.
